Information Security Policy
To ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information used during our operations and customer service, SOLAR high values client information security and data protection. We refer to various information security laws, ISO standards and industry practice experiences to reduce our exposure to internal and external information security risks.

SOLAR implement compliance with Corporate Governance Regulations, establish a department specifically for intellectual property affairs, formulate management rules, and raise awareness on intellectual property rights, so as to avoid the loss of intellectual assets and reduce the risk of operation.

  1. Ensure that products, activities and services within the organization comply with safety and health regulations and other requirements.
  2. Effectively control workplace hazards, build a safe working environment, and prevent work-related injury, sub-health, illness and accident, so as to protect the safety and health of all employees as well as suppliers, contractors and visitors entering the company. 
  3. Launch health promotion events to enhance the well-being and work-life balance of employees, and provide “fast, safe and accurate” services and “timely, quality and warm” caring to employees.

Environmental Protection Policy

SOLAR upholds a consistent business philosophy and a rigorous environmental stance, placing equal emphasis on "ecological" and "economic" development as its core operational principles. We actively recycle and reuse our waste materials to reduce waste and create valuable resources. To ensure the effective achievement of our environmental performance targets, comply with regulatory requirements, and enhance relevant management systems, our Environmental Health and Safety Management System Committee drives the formulation and implementation of environmental policies and concrete action plans within the organization. These policies are regularly reviewed for their suitability during management review meetings. Additionally, SOLAR has established ongoing environmental improvement targets and strategies to minimize environmental impact risks and uphold our commitment to environmental protection.

Water Resource Management Policy

In response to the increasingly severe water resource challenges caused by climate change, including the frequent alternation of heavy rainfall and droughts, SOLAR has formulated a management policy to proactively address these complex water resource issues. The objective is to ensure the sustainable use and protection of water resources by implementing effective measures for prevention, response, and conservation.

  2. Integrate internal and external resources, introduce recycling technologies, and increase the reuse of water resources.

 Biodiversity & No Deforestation Commitment

SOLAR paid continuous attention to climate change, and we have also extended our focus to preserving biodiversity and forest conservation, SOLAR has formulated the “SOLAR Biodiversity & No Deforestation Commitment”. SOLAR is committed to preserving biodiversity and forest conservation within our own operations, while also urging supply chain partners (tier-1 critical suppliers and non-tier-1 critical suppliers) to jointly support the initiatives and declaring the company’s spirit in protecting the environment.

  1. Avoid choosing an area that is within or adjacent to globally or nationally protected biodiversity areas when establishing a new operating site, while also requiring supply chain partners relating to SOLAR's operations to endorse and jointly comply.
  2. In addition to our commitment to avoiding any harm to protected forests and species through our operational activities, we also strive towards the goals of achieving a Net Positive Impact (NPI) and No Net Deforestation.
  3. When it is necessary to engage in operational activities adjacent to key biodiversity areas, measures such as impact avoidance, impact mitigation, and restoration will be taken in that order to reduce ecological impact.
  4. Promote the concept and values of biodiversity preservation and forest conservation to internal and external stakeholders, and raise the stakeholders' awareness on environmental protection.
  5. Ensure that SOLAR's operations and its supply chain partners are compliant with international or local forestry laws or policies and are committed to avoiding deforestation and development in forest areas, areas of high conservation value, and peat lands.
  6. With the best knowledge available, refrain from sourcing from suppliers that cause biodiversity loss, deforestation, and or violate the laws.
  7. Cooperate with value chain partners and external stakeholders to support preserving biodiversity, forest conservation, and ecological protection.

Tax Policy
 
  1. All operations are conducted in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  2. The content of financial reports is expressed in accordance with relevant regulations, and tax information is disclosed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  3. Do not transfer value created to low-tax jurisdictions.
  4. Conduct the transactions with affiliate companies in accordance with arm’s length principle and comply with internationally accepted transfer pricing guidance published by the OECD.
  5. Do not use tax havens or tax structures for the purpose of tax avoidance.
  6. We fully present the financial reports in accordance with reievant regulations and disclose taxation information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Supply Chain Management Policy

SOLAR is committed to complying with local regulations governed by Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and the Company Act. Following the guidelines of OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas, London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), London Platinum and Palladium Market (LPPM) and Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) of Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI), we ensure the precious metals of gold, silver and platinum we procure, recycle and use are all sourced legally and are compliant with responsible sourcing without being involved in money laundering, crime, armed conflict or human rights violation. Additionally, we continue to follow environmental protection regulations and policies to manage environmental risks and facilitate sustainability.
