INDIUM

  • Indium is a chemical element with the symbol In and atomic number 49. Its atomic mass is 114.818 u. Indium is a silvery-white, lustrous transition metal with a low melting point and high ductility, also the softest non-alkali metal. Indium is mostly produced as a by-product in zinc ores and is one of the rare metals.
Indium is a key element in industry, mostly applied as TCO thin film in flat-panel displays, PV or light emitting diodes. Due to its low melting point, indium is often used as solder material and  hermetic or vacuum sealing materials. Its compounds are also used in luminescent materials or semiconductor materials.
SOLAR provides a series of indium-containing metal oxide products (ITO, IGZO and IXO), including planar and rotary targets and evaporation materials. Meanwhile, we provide the services of indium sputtering target bonding and spent targets recycling to form a closed-loop of the indium element.
