PLATINUM
- Platinum is a chemical element with the symbol Pt and atomic number 78. Its atomic mass is 195.084 u. As a dense, ductile, highly unreactive and silver-white precious metal, platinum is a rare element in the Earth's crust, ranked 71st in abundance. It is very valuable and is among the most traded precious metals.
- Platinum has remarkable resistance to corrosion and is more malleable than gold, silver and copper. Moreover, its electrical properties are stable under high temperatures, making platinum is widely used in industrial applications.
- SOLAR’s platinum products are applied in hard disk media, semiconductor components or electrode, light-emitting diode, automotive catalytic converter, musical instrument, jewelry, etc. Our platinum products include LPPM platinum bars, pure-metal or alloy sputtering targets, evaporation materials, plates, tubes and granular materials. We also offer recycling and refining services for platinum-containing spent targets, spent catalysts and wastes to form a closed-loop cycle of the platinum element.
