PALLADIUM

  • Palladium is a chemical element with the symbol Pd and atomic number 46. Its atomic mass is 106.42 u. Palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, iridium and osmium form a group of elements referred to as the platinum group metals (PGMs). As a soft, silver-white metal similar to platinum, palladium has the lowest density and melting point in the PGMs.
  • More than half the consumption of palladium is used in catalytic converters. Palladium is also often used in electronics, hydrogen purification, chemical applications, dentistry and jewelry business.
  • SOLAR’s palladium products include alloy targets, evaporation materials, alloy wires and probe materials for semiconductor packaging and testing, electroplating chemicals, plates, tubes and granular materials, which can be applied in optical discs, optoelectronics, semiconductor packaging and testing, electronic components, coating, etc. We also offer recycling and refining services for palladium-containing spent targets, spent catalysts and wastes to form a closed-loop cycle of the palladium element.
